Bowen Safety Ltd was contracted to complete a fire risk assessment in a large manufacturing company whose primary function was to produce lead products. The property is in the Deeside area of Chester and the buildings are a large manufacturing warehouse and attached administration offices. The process of making lead product is completed by heating large amount of raw material to be moulded into specific lead products at high temperatures which are then used in the construction industry. A fire risk assessment is required for this type of process by law and to identify any key risks to the building and employees.
The Fire Risk Assessment created is a bespoke report to the client and identifies key areas of high risk and any high-risk activities where additional control measures are required. With in the report are recommendation to meet legal compliance as set out by The Regulatory Reform (fire safety) Order 2005, local authorities, and key areas of improvements as identified from the hazards and associated risks.
